All My Life I have been reading books and taking courses, mostly to do with Self-Help and Positive Thinking -- I just love learning and the idea of staying positive about Life especially when life gets tough as sometimes it does. Anyway, I had no real idea what Energy Healing was, but back in 2019, as I was scrolling through endless incoming emails on new courses being offered one Friday evening, I came across one from Dr. Sue Morter -- she was telling about her New International Best Seller, "The Energy Codes," so I felt led to go on Audible and purchase it and listen to it. As soon as Dr. Sue began talking in her Angelic Voice, I fell completely in love with and resonated with just about everything she had to say. I also ordered a hard copy of her book and read it; I went on The Shift Network and bought her Course "Energy Codes Level 1 for Beginners"; then I purchased her second Course "Advanced Energy Healing," -- I have listened to the book and these courses over and over and over again in my spare time while contining to work full-time.
Then, a year-and-a-half ago, I came across another one of her emails and she was offering a Zoom Training for her Father's Work -- Bio-Energy Synchronization Technique, or BEST, for short. It was, I want to say something like $3,000 for the Course that would begin in just 2 days and one needed a patient to work on. Since the course was going to be over a long weekend and most people I knew already had plans, I did not find a patient but signed up for the course anyway and practiced the movements on a teddy bear. I had a massage table that I had had at home for years so I brought it to my office and set it up -- it was a tight squeeze in my office but I made do, and practiced during breaks on my teddy bear (the one that has been the center-piece of my bed for over 20 years! :-). It was hard and embarrassing being in the Course and going into the break-out pods without a patient, but I did it anyway. I took fervent notes and watched what the other participants did on their patients as each took a turn.
After the Course was over, I went back to my full-time job and life, but I kept listening to the recordings as I walked my dogs, cleaned house, etc... I listened to them over and over and over -- if I remember correctly, it was a little over 40 hours of information -- all new to me. Life went on and work went on. I finally sat down and took the test that went along with the course and passed it. I wrote my. 200 Word Essay that was required to be emailed in to Morter Institute in Indianapolis, IN. All I needed now was 5 sets of legs to work on -- 5 willing patients willing to lay on my massage table patiently. while I practiced the moves, and looking at all the various laminated charts, and writing down my findings, then attempting to help these people release whatever negative emotion was the most urgent for their body to release RIGHT NOW in order to end some pain or begin healing some illness or both. My patients ended up being my Ex-Husband and Best Friend who I still considered My Life Partner; My Sister; and three of my female clients. I am forever grateful for all 5 of them. I had to treat each of them 3 times each and record my findings on a 4-5 page hand-out provided by The Institute.
Then I had to mail all The Reports in and wait on My Certification to become a BioEnergy Synchronization Technique (BEST) Practitioner. The day I got that Certificate in the mail, I wanted to jump 5 feet in the air!! I immediately took a photo and sent it to several family, friends, co-workers, and clients and they all congratulated me. The next thing I did was go online to Amazon and order a beautiful silver frame to put it in and place it on my desk at my office. I didn't jump right into continuing to treat people though as my work and personal life became super busy again, as it does for most people.
Then BOOM, My life changed forever, when I went over to my second home and found my Best Friend (My Partner) dead -- he had bled to death from Pancreatic Cancer that no Dr. had bothered to notice he had. They just kept telling him that his Gall Bladder Removal would take time to heal. I was in Total GRIEF!!! A month later My Baby Brother OD'd!! It was more than I felt I could handle so I called up one of My BEST Course Facilitators, and she began giving me BEST Treatments and has been regularly for over a year now. THESE TREATMENTS HAVE SAVED MY LIFE!!! NOW, I "KNOW" Why I Became An Energy Healer...
